What is Storoo?
Storoo delivers a brand-new personalized audio bedtime story to your email every single night. Each story features your child by name as the main character, shaped by their age, the values you choose, and your family's cultural background. No app to download — just press play.
How personalized are the audio stories?
During a quick 3-minute signup, you share your child's name, age, and pronouns; pick 3–5 values you want woven into the stories (like kindness, courage, or curiosity); and optionally share your family's cultural background and any themes you'd prefer to avoid. Every night, these inputs shape a completely unique story where your child is the hero — no two stories are ever the same.
What ages is this for?
Storoo is designed for children aged 3 to 12. Stories automatically adjust across three age bands — 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12 — so the vocabulary, story length, and themes always match your child's stage.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from your profile page — no fees, no lock-ins, no questions asked. If you cancel during your free trial, stories stop immediately, the refundable verification charge is refunded, and you are not charged the subscription price. If you cancel a paid subscription, stories continue through the end of your current paid billing period.
How is my child's data protected?
We collect only what's needed to personalize stories: your child's first name, age, pronouns, the values and cultural background you choose, and delivery preferences. We never sell or share this data and never use it for advertising or tracking. When service ends, your child's profile and stored audio are permanently deleted 90 days later unless you request earlier deletion.
Is this AI-generated?
Yes — and we're upfront about it. Each story is written by AI and narrated by AI text-to-speech, shaped entirely by the inputs you provide during signup. Every story passes through an automated safety audit before delivery to ensure it's age-appropriate, positive, and safe for your child.
How are audio stories delivered?
Your nightly story arrives as an audio file in your email inbox at the time you choose during signup (default is 7:30 PM your local time). Each email also includes a backup streaming link. No app, no screen time — just press play. We're exploring WhatsApp delivery as a future option.
What languages are supported?
Storoo currently supports English. We're exploring additional languages but don't have a timeline to share yet.
